Terms of service

These terms apply to WhyNot Shoppable Video (the "app"), provided by Appco Software ("we"). By installing or using the app, the merchant ("you") agrees to them.

1. The service

The app lets you upload videos to your Shopify store, tag products and collections, and show the videos on your storefront in widgets such as carousels, stories and product page cards.

2. Plans and billing

• The app is offered on paid plans shown on the app's Plans page and its Shopify App Store listing.
• New subscriptions include the free trial shown there.
• All charges are billed by Shopify and appear on your Shopify bill.
• You can change plans at any time from the Plans page. You can stop paying by uninstalling the app.
• Refund requests can be sent to us; any refund is issued through Shopify.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos and information you add. You must have the rights to everything you upload and show through the app. You allow us to store and process it only as needed to provide the app.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the app for unlawful content, to infringe anyone's rights, to get around the app's limits, or in a way that harms the app or other users.

5. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app available and working, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features over time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Ending the service

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken. What happens to your data after uninstall is described in our privacy policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its effective date.
